Deposit of silicate cobalt-nickel ores of Milyutinka

25,500 linear meters were drilled, a set of testing was completed – routine, samples, control, group samples, technological samples, samples for physical and mechanical tests were formed. The drilling was certified by mine workings, and furrow samples were taken. Based on the results of the work performed by Asbestovoye GRP LLP, reserves were calculated within the Milyutinskoye field in the Micromine software. During the field work, quality control of the work was carried out by Wardell Armstrong International Limited and, based on the drilling results, a report was prepared “Updated assessment of reserves of the Milyutinskoye nickel-cobalt deposit. Northern Kazakhstan” with calculation of preliminary reserves in Datamine software using the ordinary kriging method with different cut-off options. The results of reserve calculations with reserve calculations performed by specialists from Asbestovoye GRP LLP showed good convergence.

Detailed information

Gold ore deposit of Komarovo

Exploration was carried out at the gold deposit and wells were drilled inclined at angles from 45 degrees to 65 – 75 degrees, maximum depth from 30 – 60 m in the oxidation zone to 250 m to study primary ores, a total of 14,000 linear meters were drilled, measurements were taken in the wells inclinometry. All wells have been tested, primary ores have been sawed in half, the necessary records, field documentation and photographic documentation of the wells have been prepared.

Kundybay deposit of yttrium and rare earths.

A complex of geological exploration work was carried out at the field with the preparation of a report and approval of reserves of yttrium and rare earths in the weathering crust of the Kundybai deposit of the State Reserves Committee of the Republic of Kazakhstan. The range of prospecting work included: core drilling – 3,300 linear meters. m of wells, routine and control testing – 2,500 samples, group samples – 100 were formed, control testing was carried out, hydrogeological wells were drilled to assess the hydrogeological conditions of the field, and engineering-geological studies were carried out. The report was submitted to the RCGI and MD funds for storage.

Gold deposits of South Akkarga and South Leonidovka

A set of works was completed: drilling of exploratory wells (81 wells with a volume of 9,000 linear meters were drilled, 8,270 samples were taken, inclinometry measurements were taken in the wells and well documentation was completed along with photo documentation), the work was accompanied by the compilation of block models in the Micromine program of individual ore deposits zones with adjustments to the direction of geological exploration work. The report “Preliminary geological and economic assessment of the South Akkarga and South Leonidovka gold deposits of the Tobolsk area as of July 1, 2014 (Kostanay region) was reviewed and tested by the State Reserves Committee of the Republic of Kazakhstan, information cards and passports were compiled based on the report, and the materials were submitted to the funds of the Russian Center for Geographical Inspections and MD “Sevkaznedra”.

Exploration work for chromite-containing ores in the South Kempirsay ore field (Aktobe region) (subcontracted).

Exploration work included drilling and other related work. Drilling wells with a diameter of 132-76 mm, a group of wells up to 300 m, with a core yield of at least 90%. More than 60 wells with a volume of about 9,000 linear meters were drilled at the field. The depths of the wells varied from 100 m to 300 m, the angles of the wells varied from 650 to 900, and inclinometry measurements were taken in the wells.

Prospecting and evaluation work for copper ores in the Aike area in South-Western Turgai (Aktobe region) (subcontracted).

Exploration work included inclined drilling with a diameter of 132-76 mm and related work; a total of 11 wells were drilled with a depth of 200 to 300 m, with a total volume of about 3,000 linear meters.

Deposits of chrysotile asbestos

For more than 40 years, Asbestovoye GRP LLP has been carrying out operational exploration of chrysotile asbestos deposits in asbestos quarries of the Kiembaevsky (RF) and Dzhetygarinsky (RK) deposits. The annual volume of drilling in the fields is 10,000 linear meters and over the 40-year exploration period more than 500,000 linear linear meters have been drilled.
Based on the results of the work performed by Asbestovoye GRP LLP, numerous reports were compiled calculating the reserves of the Dzhetygarinsky and Kiembaevsky chrysotile asbestos deposits. Operational and industrial standards were repeatedly developed, reports were compiled and reserves were approved by various commissions of the State Reserves Committee of the USSR, TKZ, and the State Reserves Committee of the Republic of Kazakhstan. In addition, a “Methodology for determining the value of the conversion coefficient of geological grades to size classes of chrysotile asbestos fiber from the Dzhetygarinsky deposit and conversion factors of size classes to the 3rd conventional sieve” was developed.

Deposit of jade and colored stone of Zhitikara

Asbestovoye GRP LLP was engaged in studying the only deposit of jade and colored stone in Zhitikara, Kazakhstan; based on the results of the work, a report was compiled and the reserves were approved by the State Reserves Committee of the Republic of Kazakhstan.
After approval of the reserves, on the recommendation of the State Reserves Committee, a “Methodological manual for technological testing of jade raw materials and colored stone as an associated mineral in an active quarry using the example of the Zhitikara deposit” was developed. Asbestovoye GRP LLP carried out exploration of several deposits of building stone and brick clay in the area. In addition, the company has experience in performing prospecting geological and geochemical work to assess the ore content of the area.
